Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and secure the premises, ensuring the safety of all employees, visitors, and property.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both inside and outside, to prevent unauthorized access and detect potential security hazards.
- Operate security equipment, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including fires, medical situations, or disturbances.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Record and report any incidents, accidents, or security breaches in a detailed and accurate manner.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while interacting with staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees as needed.
- Ensure that all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or a similar role preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies or stressful situations.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods and conduct patrols in varying conditions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Security Guard License or Certification (if required by local regulations).
